We experienced an exponential surge in client acquisition, skyrocketing from zero to thousands within a year of launching our brand.
The Challenge We Tackled Together
Armadillo had a technology platform and big ambitions, but needed a brand to bring it all together. They had a vision to shake up the home warranty space, but needed an identity to set them apart in an industry that feels notoriously cold and transactional. The challenge? Creating a brand that made home protection feel approachable and warm, designing an armadillo character that could carry their entire identity without feeling gimmicky, and building a system flexible enough to serve both homeowners directly and real estate professionals looking to offer warranties as added value.
How We Made It Happen
We started from scratch—logo, colors, typography, messaging, the whole foundation. The armadillo concept was perfect (protection is literally what this animal is about), but bringing it to life took extensive character exploration and countless iterations to get it just right. We built a complete illustration system that felt inviting rather than corporate, developed a website that guides users through options with clarity, created icons and brand assets, and designed materials for their B2B partnerships with realtors. We even built out a referral incentive system to help real estate professionals easily introduce Armadillo to their clients.
What We Achieved Together
We didn't just give Armadillo a brand—we gave them a competitive edge in a crowded market. The warm, illustration-driven identity cuts through the cold corporate feel that dominates home warranties, and the character-forward approach makes protection feel personal. But here's what really matters: Armadillo went from zero clients to thousands in a single year after launch. That's not just a brand success—that's proof the whole approach works. They now have an identity that turns a boring necessity into something people want.
